Jordan Ogden and his wife Christy have a mission to encourage, strengthen and heal marriages, families and generations through mercy, servanthood, and hospitality. They have a calling to lovingly exhort on the topics of purity and righteousness, with a special emphasis on the first five years of a couple’s marriage. They live with their five children in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Steven White is passionate about seeing the church sacrificially give itself for God’s global mission around the world. He serves as the Events Coordinator in Church Mobilization for World Relief Fort Worth and the Worship Ministry Associate (Band Director) for Pantego Bible Church. He enjoys craft coffee, playing music, working with his hands, and a good taco.
Zachary, whose real name is William Edwin Horner IV but goes by “Zach,” is a young guy living in Sanford, N.C. He graduated from Elon University in 2014 with a degree in journalism. He’s getting married in June 2016 to his lovely fiancée Sarah, is currently a middle school teacher in Sanford. Zach’s passions are writing honest, truthful pieces where he can be encouraging and helpful to his readers. Particular topics of interest include depression and anxiety, sexuality and the Gospel. His other passions are Arsenal FC, Apple products and gluten-free pizzas.
Michael Key is a recent M.Div. graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary. There he developed an interest in the theology of Dutch Reformed churchmen Abraham Kuyper and Herman Bavinck and served as student assistant of the Abraham Kuyper Center for Public Theology. He hopes to continue writing and teaching about theology, ethics, history, and culture — topics he is well aware are exceptionally extensive and likely beyond his mental capacities.

Prior to Honest Tea, Austin was the Digital + Social Media Marketing for International Justice Mission, where he built and led IJM’s social media presence of 500,000+ fans across seven platforms. His social media strategy for the launch of IJM’s latest book The Locust Effect: Why the End of Poverty Requires the End of Violence won PR Daily’s “Best Global Media Relations Campaign in 2014″ award. Growing up in Russia/Kazakhstan and attending boarding school in Germany, he now proudly calls Washington, DC home.
Alex Johnston is a passionate abolitionist who serves with Traffick911. She currently works for Highland Park United Methodist Church as the Interactive Content Producer and Social Media Manager.
Nick Pitts serves as the Special Assistant to the President at the Denison Forum. He writes and speaks for the Forum in the areas of geopolitics and popular culture, while also functioning as the editor of The Daily Briefing. Nick is a Ph.D. candidate at Dallas Baptist University and also serves as an adjunct professor.
LaSondra Spears, or “Lala”, holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Social Justice from UT Arlington and is passionate about reformation in the prison system, the ending of institutionalized racism, and the restructuring of the education system. She is the Founder of Anchors and Arrows and currently serves as the Prayer Pastor and Social Justice Director for Summit Community Church in Atlanta. In her spare time she likes to write, spend time with friends, and travel.
